HealthTechApps Among Top Female-Led Heath Tech Startups by Forbes

Friday, July 30 2021

Last month, HealthTechApps was named a rising star of the health technology entrepreneurial sector. The Forbes article, titled “52 Women-Led Startups Driving The Future of HealthTech and FemTech,” highlighted companies around the world developing everything from artificial intelligence platforms for medical decision making to lab grown breast milk.

Noe Foster, a member of the 2021 ASCEND Hub cohort, cofounded HealthTechApps in 2012 with the goal of improving brain health – starting with patients diagnosed with concussions. To date, the HealthTechApps team has achieved several notable milestones:

  • Partnered with the Department of Defense to launch their first app for soldiers with traumatic brain injuries (War2Home)
  • Tested concussion platforms with the help of 700 high school student athletes
  • Received equity investment from XLR8UH & Sultan Ventures
  • Named Moonshot Company at StartUp Health

Congratulations to Noe Foster and the HealthTechApps team on this well-deserved recognition!
